2. Rates and Payments
During the booking process, the Guest can choose between different rate options, each with its own payment and cancellation conditions:
- Non-Refundable Rate: The full amount is charged upon confirmation. No refunds are provided in case of cancellation or modification.
- Refundable Rate (14-Day Option): Allows free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
- Standard Rate (30-Day Option): Allows free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
Payments: We accept all major credit cards and electronic payment systems. Tax details for electronic invoicing must be provided via the SDI code indicated above (for Italian business entities).
3. Cancellation Policy
Refund policies vary based on the cancellation timeline and the selected rate:
- Within the free cancellation period: The Guest will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
- Beyond the free cancellation period: In case of late cancellation or No-Show, 100% of the total stay amount will be retained or charged.
- Non-Refundable Offers: Do not entitle the Guest to any refund, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
4. Automated Check-in and Documents
To ensure maximum efficiency and security, StayInCagliari uses a 100% automated check-in procedure:
- Document Upload: Prior to arrival, the Guest is strictly required to complete the online registration process by uploading photos of valid identification documents for all occupants.
- Legal Compliance: This procedure is mandatory under Italian law (Art. 109 T.U.L.P.S. - Police Reporting) and European regulations (GDPR) regarding public security and data protection.
- Access: Completion of the registration is a necessary and binding condition to receive the access instructions for the property (digital codes or smart key directions).
5. Dedicated Guest Portal and Local Guides
After confirmation and successful registration, the Guest will gain access to a dedicated web portal, which includes:
- House Manual: Detailed instructions on the use of appliances, air conditioning, and property amenities.
- House Rules: Rules of conduct and instructions for proper waste management and recycling.
- Curated Guides: Exclusive tips on Cagliari, including restaurant recommendations, beaches, and local activities curated directly by our team.
6. Damage Management (No Security Deposit)
StayInCagliari proudly adopts a trust-based policy towards its guests:
- No Deposit: We do not require a hold on your credit card for a security or damage deposit at check-in.
- Verification and Charges: If damages are found to the property or its contents after check-out, the Company will thoroughly document the damage and assess repair costs.
- Damage Penalty: Should the damage be verified and attributed to the Guest's negligence, TRAVEL VISION SRLS reserves the unquestionable right to charge an extra fee up to a maximum of €300.00 to cover the damages. For damages exceeding this amount, the Company will pursue standard legal action.
7. House Rules and Responsibilities
- No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all apartments and common indoor areas.
- Parties: Parties, receptions, or events are strictly forbidden.
- Occupancy: It is strictly forbidden to host or allow overnight stays for more people than declared and registered during the booking process.
- Noise: Utmost respect for public peace and neighbors is required, especially during night hours (10:00 PM - 8:00 AM) and afternoon rest periods (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM).
8. Privacy (GDPR)
Personal data collected via the check-in portal will be processed exclusively for purposes strictly related to the execution of the rental agreement and to fulfill legal obligations required by Italian Public Security laws.
9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian Law. For any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the Court of Cagliari.

Is a security deposit required?
No, StayInCagliari operates on trust. We do not block funds on your credit card. However, in the event of damages caused by negligence during your stay, we reserve the right to charge up to €300 for repairs.
How do I get the apartment keys?
Our process is 100% digital and automated. Once you complete the online check-in (including ID upload for the Italian Police registration), you will receive temporary access codes or instructions to enter completely independently.
How late can I cancel for free?
It depends on the rate selected at checkout. We offer rates with free cancellation up to 14 or 30 days before arrival. If you selected the "Non-Refundable Rate," no refund is provided for any cancellation.
Can I invite extra guests not included in the booking?
No. For public security and insurance reasons, it is strictly forbidden to host or allow people into the property who are not properly registered in our check-in portal.
